Travis joined the IPTAY team in 2006 and currently serves as the Director of IPTAY Annual Fund. His primary responsibilities include increasing IPTAY memberships, growing the Annual Fund, and providing IPTAY with leadership that is essential for allowing Clemson's athletic programs to have the resources needed to compete at the highest level. Prior to joining the IPTAY staff, Travis was the Athletic Ticket Manager at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA. Travis joined the Georgia Tech office in March of 2003 as the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations. As such, he supervised day-to-day operations, trained full and part-time staff and administered Paciolan's online ticketing system. Travis was promoted to Athletic Ticket Manager in July of 2004. While serving in this position, he introduced and operated a digital ticketing system for students for men's basketball games and implemented an online system for players' guests. The Georgia Tech Athletic Association's ticket office also saw increased online renewals for men's basketball and football during Travis's term. Prior to his tenure at Georgia Tech, Travis served as an assistant in the Florida State Athletic Ticket Office in Tallahassee, FL. In that position, he maintained Internet sales and was responsible for game day operations for all sporting events, including will call, sales and customer service.
Travis graduated from West Virginia University in 1997 and received his master's from Clemson University in 2013. He currently resides in Pendleton, SC with his wife, Heather Furbee. Travis and Heather have two girls including Taylor who is 14 years old and Maci who is 11 years old. Travis enjoys spending time with his family, boating, hunting, and playing golf.
